Emma and Martin had their wedding ceremony in the beautiful North Mayo setting of Bangor Erris, followed by a lively reception in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel in Belmullet. Martin proposed by putting a sign on a sheep, asking her to marry him. You just knew from that alone, it was going to be a great wedding!!
What was the best part about wedding planning?
Dress shopping!!! Having days out with my mother and sisters. All my friends and family did so much to help. Only for them, I might have cancelled!!!!!
Tell us about your wedding dress shopping experience with Belladonna.
It was so laid back!! Nora was such a great help and couldn’t do enough. She even picked out my wedding dress!! Once I tried it on, I loved it. Tina and Sue were so helpful and sweet as well, and again, nothing was too much hassle. I absolutely loved the whole experience with Belladonna Bridal.
Are there any special memorable moments from your day?
Having everyone we love around us…..and the singsong at 6am!!!!!!

What advice would you give to couples currently planning their wedding?
Don’t stress!! ….but don’t leave sending out the invites to the last minute, like us!!!
