Some brides dream of this day for years. Others are nervous about it. Our first piece of advice is to the brides who are nervous….you have nothing to be afraid of!! We are here to help you every step of the way.
Do your research: We don’t expect you to know exactly what you want. Have a look at our website in advance of your appointment and should you see something you might like to try, take a screenshot of it to show us. It’s never any harm to have a look for other inspiration from other websites. This will give us an idea of what you might like.
Think about your budget: It’s always a good idea to have thought about this before you try on any wedding dresses. Our dress prices start from €1300 and go up to €3500. We’re happy to be guided by you.
Choose your guests wisely: We can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 3 adult guests with you when you come for your appointment. Bring the people whose opinion you value most in the world and will have your best interests at heart. Bringing too many guests can make it difficult for you to choose the dress that YOU love the most. It’s always nice to have a big surprise for people on your wedding day so it’s best not to show too many people before the day.
Trust the Stranger: We, as bridal consultants, are trained to know what style of dress will suit brides. We will always make suggestions on dresses that we really think you should try on and we ask you to trust us! Sometimes a dress might not have hanger appeal, but we know that will look amazing on you. What’s the worst that can happen?? If you don’t like it, we take it off, move on, and try the next one!!
Be ready to say YES: Finding your wedding dress is far easier than you might think!!! Most brides find their wedding dress in the first few dresses they try. Whether it’s the 1st dress or the 100th dress (and we really hope it doesn’t take 100!!!) be ready to enjoy and celebrate the moment, without worrying about what other dresses are out there. Once you find your dress be happy to forget all the others.
